WGET: Instalar en Mac OS X

Mientras queria instalar algunos Bundles para el TextMate, me encontre con la MacBook "sin nada" del ambiente de compilacion. ;-)
No es que sea, un gran codificador de Drivers o amante del Shell, pero ME FALTABAN HERRAMIENTAS.
Al ser nuevo, en este ambiente, tuve que buscar como demonios hacia las cosas, y una vez que lo logre, pense que seria buena idea escribir una mini-guia, para otras personas que tengan el mismo problema.

Manos a la Obra.

Los fuentes del WGET lo puedes encontrar en: http://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/wget/wget-1.9.1.tar.gz

Vamos a probar si tenemos el ambiente de compilacion; abrir una Terminal y escribir:

make (Presionar Enter)

Si obtenemos el siguiente mensaje

Significa que tenemos el ambiente de compilacion, si tenemos otro tipo de mensaje, NECESITAREMOS el ambiente de compilacion.
Estas herramientas se encuentran en la seccion Desarrollo del sitio de Apple, se necesita un usuario para poder llegar hasta ellos.

Lo que tenemos que bajar se llama Command Line Tools for Xcode (la version que use es: Late March 2012)

Una vez que tenemos el ambiente de Desarrollo. Hacemos lo siguiente:

Abrimos una Terminal y escribimos
tar xzf wget-1.9.1.tar.gz
cd wget-1.9.1
./configure
make
sudo make install
sudo ln -s /usr/local/man/man1/wget.1 /usr/share/man/man1
{Pulgares Arriba ;-) }

Ya tendremos el WGET installado!!

High Availability Day

Nuevamente he concurrido a "un día" organizado por el Grupo de Usuarios Oracle de Argentina. Mas precisamente al Día de Alta Disponibilidad ; en la empresa que trabajo estamos usando este tipo de arquitectura y queria tener mas informacion, y distintos puntos de vista y ademas, ver las novedades. Como nos acostumbran estas personas del Grupo de Usuarios, son muy dedicadas en la realización de eventos , sin dejar nada librado al azar; eso hace que participe, aunque sea como oyente, también la calidad de los Speakers.
